♯new ♯2020checklist ♯pop ♯folk 'folklore' It seems ♯aarondessner collab with ♯taylorswift has "gone full NPR-core indie" and I agree with ♯stereogum citing the Lana Del Rey, Counting Crows, and Natalie Imbruglia sounds, and for the most part, it feels like a poppy ♯thenational LP from an alternative universe. Sure some tracks feel like a collection tropes or others are a bit hollow, -- but about half of the album is actually good! 2020, mark of the times, I guess.
