Actual submission! 2020 has been a confusing whirlwind, and I think this track reflects that both musically and thematically. Malformed modes of masculinity have such a broad impact on our society, and that has never been more apparent than now. When the people who are supposed to lead and protect us are mired in isolating aggression, it's hard to be hopeful about the future. But Moses Sumney's creative honesty makes me feel a little better about being a man in a world that seems insistent on suppressing emotional vulnerability. @dom_cristiano
