This is primarily because I like to wait for the year to end in case anything big drops out of nowhere (like RTJ3 a couple of years ago), but also because I'm going back and listening to stuff I missed earlier in the year, like this album, which is great btw. I might, however, post an honourable mentions list soon, which will compile albums from 2018 that just fell short of being what I would consider great, but that I nevertheless plan to revisit in the future, in the hope that they will have grown on me.
