Muted and spare, this is music for lying supine in the bottom of a well or the times confined indoors from unending rain. It's bleak but there's a longing, yet reserved romanticism that keeps it from becoming something melodramatic. I suppose one must be in a certain headspace to fully appreciate the slow pace and occasional watery flourishes of ♯orchestral & acoustic rock. Maybe a few more listens are in order
