ngl the twins' album treasure was for me like a straight 10/10 on 1st listen, & so idk what switch ended up flipping for me but now the sound of the drum machine ends up v nearly takin me outta the mood/trance of over half the tracks... (the snare in particular, at least w/ whichever version is on spotify) & imo the drum machine sounded perfectly fine on head over heels + five or so of the neighboring EPs ive heard, so ? :/ i do still rly like the album overall tho ftr, but currently its sitting at more of like an 8.3–8.5/10 for me idk ♯cocteautwins ♯80s ♯1980s #1983 ♯rock ♯etherealwave ♯dreampop ♯postpunk ♯darkwave
