♯rp @brokemogul "Coming in at #2 on ♯myentourage ♯endcredits is GOING TO CALIFORNIA by LED ZEPPELIN. Our show gets a lot of credit for having great end credit songs but for me THE SOPRANOS was the best. They set the bar. I bring this up because after I saw "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey in the season finale in 2007. I knew we had to come up with something amazing. Everyone was talking about it. The placement shot the song and their Greatest Hits album up the charts on Itunes. How the hell was I gonna top that? Yes I'm that fucking competitive. With so many so many great songs on the show. How can you find a song that separates itself from the pack to be worthy of our finale? You cheat, you choose a song from arguably the best band ever. It was so perfect. The guys picked up and went to California. The lyrics worked out perfectly for our story and what was happening on screen. I actually knew I wanted to use the song by the end of season 6. But I never imagined it would come out so good. I remember there being some jump on Itunes after but more interesting was how many times the song was Shazam'd. These kids had no idea who Led Zeppelin was!!! check out the article that came out in 2011. http://evolver.fm/2011/11/17/graph-led-zeppelin-tagging-spiked-on-shazam-during-entourage-finale/"
