♯new ♯2020checklist ♯rock ♯classicrock ♯folk ♯folkrock 'Homegrown' Shelved back in 1975 so 'Tonight's the Night' was released in its stead, many of this LP's tracks would appear on other albums throughout the years. It's said that around 'Homegrown' s recording, ♯neilyoung had written 30 songs, was touring, collaborating with CSNY, and recording other albums-- so the absent thematic emphasis was perhaps the impetus for archiving the LP. It's all the classic Neil Young goodness however lacking that many highlights or landmarks.
